Detroit, MI – MVP Executive Search & Development is pleased to announce Jeff Kohlitz as the new Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer for Wayne State University Physician Group.

Wayne State University Physician Group (WSUPG) is a nonprofit multi­specialty faculty practice with more than 400 primary care and specialty physicians in a wide array of medical and surgical specialities. WSUPG physicians diagnose and treat some of the most complex medical cases in the state. The intrinsic link between high quality patient care, medical research, and training the next generation of physicians allows WSUPG to advance medicine in the metropolitan Detroit community and beyond.

Jeff joins WSUPG with over 30 years’ experience working in healthcare. From 2007 to present, he served as Controller, St. John Providence Physician Network, where he was responsible for financial reporting, billing, revenue cycle, analysis and physician compensation across a 500 physician network with annual net revenues in excess of $300 million. At WSUPG, Jeff will be a core member of the newly­configured senior leadership team. Reporting to the President, he will oversee the development and maintenance of financial systems, processes, and protocols as well as manage the portfolios of debt and leases and provide guidance on a wide variety of financial matters.
